a religious experience

i would cut class just to watch his game. who cares if i flunked out of school? in my life then, he was GOD. everything else was just irrelevant.

and would you believe i was only seven years old? the youngest member ever of his "solid fan club" :)

and after 16 years, here we are...

alvin: (really big smile) hey i remember you! angela! musta na? diba ikaw ung classmate ni yishay (daughter of frankie lim who was his asst. coach then)?
angel: (blushing) yes po.
assistant to cameraman: (observing me from afar) tignan mo si angel mukhang tanga, kinikilig!

the last time i felt this happy was when i first kissed vond! promise! as my new friend jen would say, "god i'm so happy. thank you lord, this has become a religious experience! hahaha :)

the san miguel all stars played with the players of tahanang walang hagdan and alvin looked totally adorable trying to shoot baskets while on wheelchair :)



i absolutely love this aspect of my work. you get to have fun and make other people happy. i couldn't resist posting this photo... stuff like this really make you feel that yes, you do make a difference :)

can you believe he got this shirt more than a decade ago? it must have been a real treat for him to see the Skywalker again!

at the end of the day, i got several oktoberfest invitations, one "let's have coffee when you're free" message and a really sleazy "proposal"... ugh! but even THAT cannot ruin my day. if one bad egg managed to worm his way through, at least we have several more stars to look up to!

i love this! and am looking forward to our next project :)

this site has been quiet for a really long time. the princess has left the castle to do some undercover work. but lo and behold... Her Royal Highness is back!

but if you'll excuse her, the ladies-in-waiting are about to give her a bath (and a foot massage too!) :)

vond bought me this adorable white rubber shoes with pink polka dots! something i've wanted to have for the longest time. september 15 a.k.a actual birthday :)
woke up early. i had to coordinate some stuff before my 10 am shoot. i wasn't pissed to be working on my birthday though. i was never the "it's my birthday, im not suposed to be working" type of person. normal day really.

but extraordinary firends made sure it wasnt going to be like the usual :)

pat called REALLY early to greet me and i was like lord, why? she was soooo awake already and asked me to pass by toc because dennis wanted to greet me too. i was too sleepy to argue. i really wanted to say, di pa ba uso ang text at cellphone? pwede naman akong i-text ni dennis but instead, i settled for "ok, i'll be getting my mini-dv there anyway." then koryn texted me what time pull-out mo? twice. god, my house mates are high on something. tsk, tsk.

when i arrived at the TOC dennis suddenly disappeared. and i thought, fine! mag-suplado ba? within five seconds though, he reappeared with the prettiest bouquet of mostly pink flowers. awwww... i was sooo touched and everyone there greeted me happy birthday. o db? nag-party sa toc kasama ang mga konduktor ng bus!(don't ask me, just look at our crew's uniform!) hehehe

whhhhhhaaaaa!!! i felt sooo loved by the "gods and goddesses of imb". thanks to the two lokas! :) thanks imb people! and though i loved all your messages, please forgive me for saying my favorite came from the one and only verawang duddy. here's an excerpt: "...My tummy says happy birthday to you too. Kiss ka daw niya. I admire your strenght. Duddy sa buong time na nakilala kita dalawang beses lang kita nakitang sad. Isa ng maaksidente yung dad mo, and pangalawa nung mamatay si Dumbledore. Not sure sa spelling basta yung sa Lord Of The Rings..." need i say more?

then i had to work already. my king (kuya juni) texted "happy birthday to my one and only royal princess. sorry you have to work on your birthday". nyahahahaha! in truth, i had the best birthday! since i was covering a light story about spells, enchantments, love potions, etc., i actually got a treat! julius,the center's i-ching master gave me a free reading and answered ALL my questions. enigma, the pranic healer, cleansed my aura. stargazer gave me a full reading. and raymond even gave me bath salts to try at home :)

i lighted a candle on this altar. and they told me i chose the healing altar. according to them, it's quite amazing as most people are drawn to the love altar! hahaha

and i even got a greeting from mutya, the house fairy!

see the bluish-white image? according to frater raymond, that's mutya wishing me a happy birthday!

met up with my honey then i spent the rest of the night with pat and koryn, getting updated on gossip and pigging out on yakult and spaghetti! :)

nyak!!! this is karma! honey, i am sooooo sorry. i will never flirt with anyone again. i am being punished!

from now on, this girl is super loyal. (this statement doesn't mean i dated someone other than vond ha!)

promise honey!!! well, maybe not when i see a brad pitt lookie lurking somewhere.
